Reliance Jio JioRail App Lets JioPhone, JioPhone 2 Users Deal With IRCTC Efficiently
JioPhone users would now be able to book/cancel railway tickets through the JioRail application. The JioRail app should be available for download from the JioApps repository.
For starters, the JioRail app would let you also obtain Railway-related information such as PNR status, train timings, and details regarding origination/cancellation of trains at source, along with being able to book/cancel railway tickets at any given point in time. In addition to these, you should also be able to check out tatkal ticket booking as well as finding out availability in various trains.
To use the JioRail app, you should remember to possess an IRCTC account; you could make payments through debit-card linkage, e-wallet unified payment interfaces (UPI). As of now, the JioRail app is reportedly available for both JioPhone 2 as well as the relatively old JioPhone users; it is not known if the app would make its way to Google Android as well as Apple iOS platforms.
At this juncture, the JioRail app could also get more enhancements in the future considering the fact that the Mukesh Ambani-led telco is known to announce updates to its services in fixed iterations (and durations). Here, do check out JioRail, and share thoughts/insights on the experience.
In other Jio-related developments, the telco could deploy 5G networks across the state of Gujarat at the earliest, considering the fact that Mukesh Ambani, at the recent Vibrant Gujarat summit, reiterated commitment to develop and deploy the next-gen networking standards within the state.
